Some #UPDATES!
Firstly, I was really chuffed to make it to the commendation list and then the longlist of the Screenshot competition, organised by Sister Pictures and South Of The River.
I’m told I made it to the final 5% of entrants, which is really cool – and I’m excited now to get back to work on the project I entered with!
Secondly, I’m part of the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew cohort for 2021! It seems like such a great initiative and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.
Aaaand finally, I recently completed a Beginners’ Fiction course with Faber Academy – spending my spare time doing, er, more writing. Prose fiction is one area of writing that I have yet to conquer and it’s been in my crosshairs for a while, so it was awesome to learn and practise over the 8-week programme. And on a basic level, it was really cool to hold printouts of all the work I did for it afterwards.
